Tigers also need a DH

Post by Rangers »

We're even willing to take an aging, declining type as long as he can do better than Delmon Young (no, we're not looking to dump Delmon). If you read BA's league top 20's you'll see that we have some emerging prospects (Gorkys, Parra, Schafer, Font, Miller, etc), and we're willing to move some big league assets around if someone isn't necessarily looking for youth.

Basically, we're looking to add a couple of relievers and a DH, whether it's via bargain basement types who we have to overpay in prospects for or a real talent that costs a prime return.

Btw, a couple of you guys that I've talked to about relievers, I am interested and will be in touch if you're around before Oct 1.

brett, you'll want to come talk to me about pen arms I may have available too. fairly deep in this area - as has been the case the past few seasons.
