There is a problem with this signing. I recognized Ekstrom's name from our recent mini draft:

Mets - Chris Coste (C)
Rangers - Thomas "Tip" Fairchild (SP)
Brewers - Cliff Politte (RP)
Nationals - Jason Tyner (OF)
D-Rays - Mike Ekstrom (SP)

Then I did a search. It appears to me that Ekstrom was not "caught" during the recent OOPSS conversion probably due to the difference in dob and first names ... but I am pretty sure that these two M. Eckstroms are the same player and that he rightfully belongs to the Devil Rays.
